SUNDAY THINGS

Artwork / Notecards / Earrings / Shoes / Pillow / Book

I recently took an art history class to add a little more culture into my life, and this class has inspired me to start my own art collection. I feel like you could have the best decor style- but a great piece of artwork adds so much character to a home. This piece by Holly Addi is fantastic. I love the subtlety, yet pops of bright colors.

Sweetbitter by Stephanie Danler has honestly been the talk of the town. It has been made into a television series premiering tomorrow night: 06 May 2018, @ 8pm on Stars Network. I have yet to finish this novel but once I do, I can't wait to binge the series. For those of you who have never heard of Sweetbitter, here is a teaser: "Following 22-year-old Tess who, shortly after arriving in New York City, lands a job at a celebrated downtown restaurant and learns to navigate the chaotically alluring, yet punishing life she has stumbled upon."

Lisi Lerch has some fabulous statement earrings. I see Cameran Wimberly, from Southern Charm, sporting them almost daily. I really love the classic Ginger earrings, but these "Cameran" style have become my new favorite.

Last summer my mom bought a set of two gorgeous blue and white patterned pillows and since, I have been trying to find something similar. I am LOVING these pillows I found at Furbish Studio. Just the right style I was looking for and fit perfectly in my living room. To be honest, throw pillows are a major weakness for me. I have at least 15 pillows in storage that I rotate through. What's two more?

I absolutely love a handwritten note. There is something so personal about them that cannot be emulated via technology. Charlotte's Raleigh has a fantastic stationary selection at both of their locations and online.
Is anybody as obsessed with metallic as I am? I die for a silver/gold combination. If mixing metals is wrong, I don't want to be right. Aquazurra made all of my metallic summer shoe dreams come true with these chic little block heels. They are the type of heels I know I could run a marathon in.
